Catan Universe (UI/UX Design)

Description

"Catan Universe" offers players the opportunity to experience the award-winning board game "CATAN" on Android, Mac, iOS and Windows.

My Contribution

• UI/UX Design Together with a colleague, I was tasked to overhaul the UI and menu structure for the mobile version of the game. This included every screen apart from the actual in-game screens: Main Menu, Settings, Player Profile, Guilds, Leaderboards, Shop, Match Configuration, Meta Tutorial, ... The main objective was to minimize the time spent in menus between the first launch of the app and actual gameplay. As the existing UI and UX was created with mainly PC users in mind, we needed to optimize everything for mobile devices. We delivered a playable Adobe XD prototype with optimized UI/UX and extensive documentation.
